These terms apply to every purchase and every visit. By using BrandMyEarth or buying a placement you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What this is

BrandMyEarth sells a virtual placement on a 3D map. That is all it sells. A branding paints a country or state in your color with your logo and links your name to your site while it runs. It is not ownership of anything, not an endorsement by anyone, not affiliation with any place or government, and not any real-world right. There is no guarantee of visibility, traffic, or uptime.

The purchase

You pick a place, a duration, and your brand details. Payment is processed by our payment provider, the merchant of record, which handles taxes and payment data. The price you see at checkout is computed from a signed quote; when payment lands, the placement starts immediately and a private manage link is emailed to you. No account is created.

Duration and pricing

Every place has a daily rate. Land space is cost: a country launches between $30 and $50 for a full year based on its land area, never more than $50 a year at launch, and a state takes a share of its country's rate by area, so small states start at a few dollars a year. You pick a duration: 1, 7, 30, 90, or 365 days, with multipliers 1.00, 0.95, 0.85, 0.75, and 0.60. The total is the rate times the days times the multiplier, never below $1.

Demand pricing

Every time a place is claimed, its base price rises by 20%. Demand compounds: a place claimed often becomes expensive fast, and it can pass its launch price. Prices do not fall when a branding expires. The rate you paid stays locked for your placement and its extensions.

Takeovers and credit

A branded place can be taken over by paying a daily rate at least 25% higher than the current brand's rate, and never below the base rate. When that happens, the displaced branding ends immediately and its owner receives credit for every unused day at the rate they paid, plus a 10% bonus. Credit is never more than the amount actually paid plus that bonus. Credit never expires and applies to any purchase. The displaced owner can take the place back by paying 25% over the newcomer's rate. When a branding expires, the rate returns to the base rate.

Extensions

Extending your own branding is always at your locked rate with the duration multipliers, and appends days to your end date.

Credits and refunds

Credits are issued as described above and spent at checkout. If a purchase cannot be honored, for example the place was taken while your payment was in flight, the full amount comes back as credit automatically, and a real refund is a reply away. Refunds are processed by the payment provider. A refunded purchase ends its placement and cancels any credit that was minted from it. Beyond that, there are no refunds except as stated here or in the content rules.

Your content and license

You must hold the rights to the name, logo, and link you submit. By purchasing you grant a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content on the globe, on the place and brand pages, in the claim history, and in generated share images, during and after the placement, as part of the public record of the map. You can request removal of your content at any time through the manage link or the contact address below.

Acceptable use

The content rules page is part of these terms. Placements that break it can be removed. Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the service, and do not misrepresent who you are or what you own.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. This is a small cosmetic service; treat it as one.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top tells you when they last did. Changes apply from the moment they are published; material changes do not shorten or reprice a placement you already paid for.

Removal

Any branding can be removed at any time as described in the content rules. If the removal is not for a rules violation, unused days are refunded.
